you're killing me, smalls!

you should thank rachel zack for this because she's been pestering me forever about neglecting this blog. my apologies for leaving you all on tenterhooks (great word, by the way, and too underused) about the goings-on in merry olde england.

the short version: my computer hard drive died, so i was without a life-line to the internet for a couple weeks. i also have no music because my ipod died a few weeks before that, so all recommendations for music would be welcome. then i went to wales to ride ponies for the weekend, which was insanely effing gorgeous and the ebd and breakfast we stayed at fed us glorious amounts of wonderful food. my placement finished this thursday and while it has been pretty boring, the people in my office are quite young and fun and british, so that keeps me entertained.

i'm sure that i'm forgetting all of the random events that would entertain you all (because i know you depend on this blog for your laughs) so i don't really know what else to say. other than that i rode the slides at tate britain and it was maybe the funnest thing ever. and the fact that i did it during a class field trip at the suggestion of a professor made it all the more enjoyable.
