"go out and drink, have a party, god bless!"

this was the farewell given to us by our academic tour boat guide. i really liked him.

so, my flight was fine except for the fact that because i flew virgin atlantic the entire cabin was red and purple. i wanted to vomit. also, all of the stewardesses were spectacularly coiffed. i watched an inconvenient truth, dave chapelle's block party, and the wind that shakes the barley. all good choices.

after moving into my "flat", we went to sainsbury's and giggled at the biscuit aisle. i resisted buying any.

we went on a walking tour which was pretty embarassing because they marched like 25 american students through the streets of south kensington. i felt like i was in kindergarten.

bu held an academic boat tout of the thames for us, during which the above advice was given. i got some pretty cool pictures. if i wasn't so lazy, i'd upload and post them.

i wonder when i'll stop blaming the time difference.
